Anyone can Shop - Members can Swap

How does the Clothes Line Work??

The Clothes Line provides parents with the opportunity to pass on outgrown and nearly new kids, babies and maternity clothes in exchange for credits; these credits can then be used towards the cost of other high quality items on our website.

Your credits will be deducted from your final total at the check-out stage. Credits can be applied to a maximum of 50% of the final purchase total.

Its that simple!!

  • Receive Credits

Credits are awarded depending on the resale value of the items. Each member will be awarded credits to the value of half of the selling price of each item once we receive them and place them on the site. We don’t wait until your item is sold to give you credits; you get them straight away!

    Resale Criteria

Our simple philosophy is “we offer you the highest quality of clothing on our website”, so the general rule of thumb is to only submit items in the same condition you would like to receive them in yourself.

Clothing must be washed in in practically perfect condition (ie- not ripped, stained, bobbled or faded)

Items are priced according to Brand and placed into one of two categories:

    • Branded Items: Examples include Next, Debenhams, Name IT, Zara, H&M, Gap, Osh Kosh, Orchestra, Mothercare, Monsoon, Oilily, Benetton, Gymboree etc. These items are generally of good quality and wash well.
    • Discount Branded Items: This category consists of mostly Dunnes and Cherokee clothing. These items are generally sold at a lower price than category one and must be in exceptional condition. We also accept babygros, pyjamas etc which we resell as bundles. We do not accept Penny’s clothes, purely because we cannot stand over the quality

    Unsuitable Items

Any items which are unsuitable for resale will be either returned to you of requested or donated to our nominated charity. The Waterford Womens Refuge offers emergency accommodation to women and children who have to leave their homes under difficult circumstances.

Please refer to our FAQ’s for more details, or call me directly on 086 3180668

    Shopping

In order to get the most value from the site, we recommend you buy items seasonally, or a couple of times a year. This system will allow you to reduce postage charges. Alternatively, if you shop with us regularly, we will hold your purchases until you have enough to warrant postage, just add a note to your order and let us know how we can help.

Your credits will be deducted from your final total at the check-out stage. Credits can be applied to a maximum of 50% of the final purchase total.
